african fractals

theres a nice example of the progression of ideas in here - from fractal algos using deterministic chaos in african sand divinations - conveyed to Europe as "Geomancy" - applied by Leibnitz in creation of the "binary" paradigm - to boolean algebra, to digital computing.

Could be woven somehow, into the curriculum pehaps to enhance mathematical skills in kids from key stage 3 up ??? Who's to say, we not mechanics!
